Tom Clancy

 

Tom Clancy is a legend among crime-fiction, thriller, and espionage writers. Clancy Born in 1947 in Baltimore, Maryland.
This was the same time that tensions with the Soviet Union were heating up, as a result many of his books centered on Cold War
espionage. He later graduated from Loyola College and became a successful insurance salesman. Clancy did not begin to write
until later with his career in insurance fully developed. Clancy passed away in 2013.

Clancy Wrote over 100 fiction and non-fiction books during his writing career. His novels have been published around the world
and have received many awards. He especially well known for his novels; The Hunt for Red October, The Sum of All Fears,
Clear and Present Danger, and Patriot Games. All four of these novels have been made into very successful movies. These novels
feature Jack Ryan. His best-known series are the Jack Ryan and Jack Ryan, Jr. series.

Clancy has also written 12 other series of books, some of them with other authors.
